Change your email address

Gomates uses an email address to uniquely identify your account. You will use this email each time you sign in to Gomates, and you can change it in your account settings.

When you join a carpool group, the group leader can see your email address. If you want other group members to see your email or other contact information, change your Privacy preferences to give them access.

To change your email address

1. On your Home page, click to open Settings.
2. Select Email.
3. Enter your new email address. Enter your password to authorize the changes.
4. Click Submit. A confirmation email will be sent to the new address.
5. Click on the email link to verify your new email address.
